The Very Last Day 2004

posted by tristan @ 12/31/2004 04:33:00 PM

Hey all, how are you guys doing? Planning for a night out? Well well, I can't believe how time flies. Its just like a snap in fingers and here i am - 31/12/2004. A few more hours before a brand new year. of course, I am gonna lay down some new year resolution, but before this, its always important to do a reflection about my life for the past one year. somehow like a performance appraisal, telling me what I should improve in and what I should learn to let go.

Life
As compared to some of my friends, I don't really have a exciting life whenever school re-open. Its like a usual routine, get involved in project, projects and more projects. Other than that is setting time for tuition, tuition and more tuition. I don't really have time for myself for 2004, I yearn for a holiday getaway but always seem so far away. My only breaktime was during the period just before SIP started. And thereafter, every other day is hectic and filled up with work. So I guess I must really learnt to relax, not for the next 3 months for sure, but at least before I hit NS. And I just hope to get a diving license from PADI in May 2005.

Friends
Hmmm, friends. Yes, there were ups and downs, and lately it has been on the down side. I won't go into it. But whatever it is, I still want to take this opportunity to thanks to my wonderful groups of friends who have been there for me, listening to my nonsense and lame stories, giving me a hand just when I was about to fall.
But I must say that i'm 19, no longer the 16 or 17 boy with a nerdy specs and expects alot from friends. I just want to make life as simple as it is. Whoever will stay shall stay, whoever that's gonna leave, just leave. Don't even turn back. Yes, some memories are precious, but there are times we must learn to let go. Its only when I start to let go, I learn to be happy. I have the choice to choose who I wanna be with and I can't fulfil your never ending needs. For a simple reason, its my life.

Love
Love, again and again. I was really upset during the mid of these years. Because all my friends are pushing me to get into a relationship. It was then that I voiced out and things have improved. I have no time for relationship and no mood to get into a relationship at these moment. Perhaps I am still playful. There are times when I really hope to have someone by myside, but that feeling had only last for a day. Let time decide, i believe someday and somewhere, I will meet someone who have the ability to change my thinking. Its only then, I declare that I have found someone whom I am longing to be with. Stop bugging me! haha!

Money
2004. Just like the stock market, there are fluctuations for sure. But I think, I have learnt to save for raining days. Early this year, I've got for myself a UOB account just for saving purposes. Though there are times when the temptation to spend is there, I still managed to maintain. Surprise! And why I am working so hard? school, tuition and at times some ad-hoc work? My friends always asked me, are you in need of money? Yes, I am in need of money, to make my life a better one. There are two scenerios:

1) Those who are born in rich family, of course, these people enjoy life.

2) Those who work their ass for just for the sake of money to enjoy life.

I belong to category 2 for sure. I work hard and I enjoy. I experience hard ship and I know what is "hard earn money". No wonder my parents always told me "Hua Qian Rong Yi, Zhuan Qian Nan" I finally realise the true meaning of this sentence. So after all the hard work, I always treat myself with great food or spend on clothings and stuff.

We can't compare with those filthy rich cases, because this will only bring us to despair. I am not born with a silver spoon. And that's why I always envy friends who's dad get car for them when they got their driving license. But somehow, we are not born with equality. There's are extreme cases, where the rich and bloody rich and poor are bloody poor. Still, I am contented with my growing up environment. I love my mum and dad no matter what.

Ok, I think that's about it! Enjoy! I Chillin out at Esplanade tonight. Catch me if you can... =P

我也很想他

posted by tristan @ 12/29/2004 01:38:00 AM

Ok, I'm getting better. Doctor says my sickness was caused by tension? Anyways, now is kor's turn to have sore throat. Think is the paint. We're so allergic to the odour that the paint produce. Ah boy is also having sore throat. So many people are getting sick! Take care yup!

Well, something about the tsunamis. I guess lately, everyones' attention is on the news. Death toll is rising and condition is pretty bad. However, this incidence have brought my attention to geographical studies. I am still pretty amazed at how the tsunamis are formed with the earthquake underwater. First, the water are sucked away from shore, within seconds, huge waves came rushing in. Disastrous yet interesting~ I mean the formation, not the death rate! I'm not so cruel ok! I do feel something for this people who lost their kins in split seconds. But what to do. When disaster strike, it have no mercy! And I think its a pretty bad thing to end 2004. Why can't we just live in peace?! Seems like every year there bound to have a ordeal that everyone must brave through.

Hmm, gonna tuck in already. Tomorrow morning have to head to my company to take some docs for the report. haha. Its good working from home. As long as I get the report done, there's no eyes on me. Good money too!

Here, I leave you with this song which is on repeating mode on my playlist. Enjoy!

I am a Good Boy today

posted by tristan @ 12/26/2004 11:24:00 PM

Yeah! I was helping my mum and dad with the painting today. Do I need to say that out? Yup Yup, I am a good boy today! Still down with the flu and stuff... Oh well...

Anyway, dad is down on luck. When he did a reverse today. He wasn't paying much attention to the walls on the multi-storey carpark then he smashed right through it... Hohoho! Merry Christmas! The whole screen was smashed and needs to be repaired tomorrow! Dad was cursing and swearing like mad!

Later in the noon, mum and dad sent me to the shops nearby to queue for 4D. This was my very first time. Anyway, the queue was stretching and was about length of 2 shops. While queuing, I was telling myself, hope I don't get to see people whom I know. Coz' it definitely leaves GOOD impression. Wa, congratulations. My tuition kid dad walks out from the shop. I'm going to resume tuition lesson in a week time. Goodness, I really didn't know what to do but to smile at him. Fake! I have the urge and tap on him and say "uncle, I am just helping my parents to queue, I am not involve" You wish!

Ok, just had my dinner after clearing up all the mess. Still down on a headache and its recurring quite often lately. Ok, got to do my work. New year is coming. So wassup for everyone? Blog again soon!

Merry Christmas To All!

posted by tristan @ 12/24/2004 11:40:00 PM

Time Checked: 20 Minutes away from Christmas! Just came back from Esther's BBQ Party. Had lotsa fun! Her family and cousin are real funny! Especially the the intelligent brother and sister whom I last saw 3 years ago and can't even recognise at first! You can't find anyone as lame as them. And they can communicate hokkien without much effort! Applause! Anyway, thanks to Esther for inviting and dajie and erjie for being such great host. I really can't intake a lot of meaty stuff eversince the brazilian dinner on Tuesday! haha!

Anyway, what do you wish for tristan? I've endless items in my wishlist, however I managed to picked some of the essential ones....

1) Since I will be graduating in 3 months time. Let's hope I'll get good results and everything will run smoothly regardless of Final Year Project or Exams.

2) I will be a botak and serving the nation unwillingly in the next half of 2005, hope life in NS will not be as tough as it seems!

3) Wish everyone, friends and family with great health and 2005 would be a better year for everyone. Me? Great health, great look and be well-build!

4) Nothing beats having a great bunch of friends, let's hope the friendship will stay as strong. I'm more than contented with the way it is now. And neither would I want to ask for more.

5) If this final wish come true, well, I had be giving Mr Santa a great kiss. But this wish will come in handy say... 2 years later? Well, I can't wait to start flying with SQ really!! hee hee!

Perhaps everyone has his or her dream. Some dream Big, while some don't even dare to dream. I may be a dream killers initially, but soon I realise, everyone need a dream to live on and make life more meaningful. No matter what happens, we should be supporting the love ones around us! This article has been with me for long and its says:

"Successful people cling to their dreams against all odds. They pursue their dreams no matter what and how long it takes. Hang on to your dreams and take necessary actions to make them come true. It may not be easy, but it will definitely be worth it!"

This Christmas

posted by tristan @ 12/21/2004 11:55:00 PM

Just got home. I'm totally exhausted with all the projects meeting and stuff. But seriously, it have been like a routine. Keep telling myself to take a step at a time and keep telling myself, I've already brave through all the storms during attachment, so got to keep going!!

Christmas dinner tonight with fellow saffroners! Its good to see them. I woke up this morning, already have the plan of not going, coz i seriously have no idea what to wear for this event. But after I got home at 4:30pm, I skim through my wardrobe, dad's and bro's, looking for the best piece gonna makes me look good. It was like a fashion show: changed, ewww, next.... the process keeps going until I've found a really good one. 6:30pm. Dress up, confident and ready to go.
Hazel just messaged and said that I really know how to dress up! Flying.....

Dad was kind enough to drive me to MRT station coz it was impossible for him to send me to Bukit Timah. I got down at Commonwealth and took a cab down. That's a money-saving methodology. Flag, and best part of the story...

I tried opening the door, but couldn't. I wonder why on earth would a taxi driver lock his door. For the very first time, I was puzzled. It really didn't bothers me until I got into the taxi.
I told the uncle "6th Avenue Bukit Timah please". Expression-less. He drove off. 5 mins, he was still expression-less, just keeps driving. And you know he have those killer-looks! I swear, he have got what it takes to become those serial-killer. When I turn my head to check on the running meter, it was not ON! I began to freak out and really have lots of silly thoughts in my mind. Which taxi driver would lock their door, not asking where their passengers want to go, no smile, and forgot to turn on the meter. I was so scared that I would not live to see tomorrow! I thought he wanted to drive me to an isolated area, take a knife and stab me to death.... oh no......
Just then, I was disrupted from the evil thoughts the taxi driver might have in mind. "Sorry, I forget to ON the meter (-_-") . How much do you want me to charge you?" I told him this was my first time here. Honest right?! He started mumbling and said ok, $4 plus $1 peak hours charge. I agreed. Since when Singapore have implemented a one-time charge like Thailand or Malaysia? This only happens when I was in Bangkok 4 years ago trying to get into a Tuk-tuk! hahaha. Whew! I'm still here, alive and kicking!

The dinner at Brazil Churascarria was really good. It was a restaurant for the true carnivore! Goodness. My plate was filled up with tonnes and tonnes of meat, ranging from pork, chicken, beef to lamb. The waiter would take skewers with different kinds of meat, slice onto your plate on the spot. You can hear the sizzling sound. Yum Yum, but too much of meaty food will really send you begging for some vegetables. That's when Tessa was shocked to see my plates full of salad and use a word to describe my action "backlash". Haha! I have never eaten so much meat before in a single day. Its tasty, but not too much of it. And I would say the restaurant is really generous in servings! Thumbs up! 4 stars *ding ding ding ding*
Am i sending any of my readers drooling and slurping away? Forgive me! I received gifts from Hazel and Tracy, Nancy and Jenson and Trisha! Ray and Tessa was good enough to ask me along. Really appreciate and was indeed very touch! *sniff sniff* And another colleague Jimmy just got for himself a 3G phone. Its was superb and truly an amazing phone! Thank you to the saffron family. They really makes me feel part of it! Had so much fun tonight.

Ok, I am off to bed. Take care everyone! Smiles...
If i manage to get the photos, I'll post it here aright! Take care!

Lesson 1: Courtesy

posted by tristan @ 12/19/2004 11:06:00 AM

Let's do some basic recap on what our parents or teachers have taught us! Mama say "Do not open one's letter coz it had be rude for you to do that" Teacher taught us "Do not intrude others privacy without seeking permission"

Lesson? Please do not assume that you are soooo damn bloody close to a friend that you can just peep into his or her stuff. Be it inbox messages, email message without even asking for permission. Kindly let the user acknowledge before looking/taking their things.

FOR YOU MAY THINK IT IS ALRIGHT, BUT NOT THE USER!

Coz i had classify you as an ILL-BREED child and doesn't even have the manners or BASIC courtesy to ask for permission! Let me repeat "Do not assume"! I don't care how close you are to me, even if you're my mum or dad, I'm definitely pissed! And for next time, don't blame me for standing beside you and monitoring your every single movement, just to make sure you're consious of what you're doing!

Christmas is coming... 5 more days!

posted by tristan @ 12/19/2004 01:16:00 AM

Yeah, Christmas is coming!! So many activities awaiting =). Work is also piling =(.
Firstly is the company's christmas dinner at a Brazilian restaurant on Tuesday evening. Then, Thurs with my friends at Hard rock Cafe and finally Friday, with my bestie bestie mate, Esther's BBQ! Looking forward! Anyway, just met up with some of my friends. Haha. Lian bought a mouse pad for me! Which is like... ermm... Anyway, I thank her for the box of "taste-so-good" chocolate and the "oh-so-cuteee" mouse pad! Nice! Recently so many chocolate gifts huh! hee hee! Its good to catch up once in a while. Had supper with Nes and Ben. Burrppp!
Com'on, I think I really need to drink some vegetable oil in order to add some fats! Anyone have the secret remedy to gain weight? Supper is a good way, I see the success story of Agnes. But it doesn't seems to work for me! Is there worms in my stomach eating away all the nutrients? or Do I have digestive problems? Heellllppp...

Anyway, thanks hui for the lending the 256MB SONY Thumb Drive for a period of 3 months. The labs are so high tech these days that I can't live without one. Zip drive/disk is going to be phase out soon! Damn, why revamp only when I am in my final semester! TP cheat my money! ($_$)

Ok, I am tired again. Turn in now!

Boo hoo =(

posted by tristan @ 12/17/2004 11:50:00 PM

Shucks, just got home and had my dinner. My energy is totally drained! 13hrs in school since 9 this morning till 10pm. Just to get things done for FYP. Was 10mins late for APEL lesson. I didn't mean to be late, but the bus was horribly slow. And APEL 3 is stress, coz my Careperson is none other than our course manager, Mrs Lai. The moment I stepped in:

Mrs Lai: "what time is it now?"
Me: "9:10"
Mrs Lai: "What time does the lesson start?"
Me: 9am.
Mrs Lai: "Please don't be late for class next week ar!"

Embarassed! Really tired lately, work load seems to be endless, in fact getting heavier and heavier. Really trying my best to cope. Anyway, I have an amazing friend who really understands me soooo well, I was impressed.
She's none other than Cien! She messaged me trying to confirm my attendance for coffee session tomorrow evening. I was in the midst of the meeting, thus i just replied "ya."

I only read her message at the end of the meeting. I was amazed. She replied "u sound stressed lehx, pal, relax ar... dun keep increasing your stress level" I was thinking, how on earth does she know that I am stress but just a reply. The fact that I am someone naggy and seldom reply a word message helps her to conclude I am not my usual self. haha! Amazed right! Was touch from her words and concern indeed. Thanks mate!

And also A BIGBIG Thank You to Fanny for my 5 mths old birthday present. though my birthday have already passed for 5 months, still I'm moved with the piggy bottle full of hershey's chocolate plus, 19 stars! That's really sweet! Ok, I'm waiting for agnes to pass me my stuff.. so sleepy le! Faster can~!

Next Stop, Orchard.

posted by tristan @ 12/12/2004 02:23:00 AM

Hmm, yawn. It's already 2am in the morning. Still trying to get some work done. Its piling up! Sunday is always a good day to clear my work before a brand new week.

Well, had project meeting till 7pm today. Anyway, managed to get some work done. Happy :)

Met up with lian just now. God, never take a bus to Orchard though its stated EXPRESS! During a Saturday night and when christmas is round the corner. haha.
I was stuck in a jam. And you know what bothers me? I was standing throughout the journey, and right in front of me was a baby. This baby simply gets on my nerves, he cried non-stop and was so damn restless. His mum doesn't even know what he wants. Goodness me! He's yelling and screaming, and with the slow traffic, its kinda irritates me! Then I think the baby cries did affect everyone's mood in the bus. A man was argueing with another lady sitting in front of him. The man was shouting and behaving like a hooligan! Can't really make up what he was shouting, but I just knew there were fire in their eyes! Whew! Finally alighted at Far East. We went for our dinner. So much to complain to lian. haha! Anyway, went shopping till all the shops were closed. Lian got a GUESS t-shirt. It was a really good deal coz Guess was having sales up to 50%. I tried a t-shirt, but hmmm, dun really like the cutting. Saw a pair of jeans which looks really good. GUESS how much was that pair of GUESS jeans? GUESS.. GUESS GUESS! It's 319.90! Hmmm.....

Saw 2 familiar faces. Firstly is ting's most recent ex. This guy totally disgust ting. That's why the relationship ended promptly. Next, we saw Rina. Gossip Gossip. Rina with a new guy I suppose. Lian is so pragmatic. She's not looking at Rina when she called out her name. Lian is looking at her guy. Glance I mean. Oh, Mambo is having sales. The checked shirt which I think, I think I eye for in recent months, is on a 30% discount. That makes up to like 62 after discount. Cheap right! Damn. I'm broke!

While waiting for lian's sis, I was telling lian, I've real short attention span! And I want to do something about this flaws which is getting into me. You know, I can't pay much attention to what people want to bring across these days! I find it so hard to absorb what they're trying to tell me. Aww man! Trying so hard to concentrate!!!! Arghh!

Ok, I'm about to doze off! Take care everyone. Have a great week ahead!

Week 1 Stress Level Analysis

posted by tristan @ 12/11/2004 01:21:00 AM

Awww man, pitiful! First week of school had past, and how are you guys coping?

Oh me? You're asking Me? *tristan shakes his head* Not good huh! So many projects and work to be done. Stress level is immense. Look what I have here? A chart showing my stress level for the past 5 days (not drawn to scale). Obviously, you can see stress level reaching its peak as day goes by. This is only week 1. Don't be surprise if it hits over the scale!

Let's start off with Monday. First day of school, everything was fine. Get to see my friends, get the feel of lecture and tutorial again. Technoprenuership, interest for this subject is rated at average. Lecturer listed out a fact during lecture "Those who scored a distinction or A for this subject are unlikely to be successful Entrepreneur in future. As for those who failed or manage to skim through, these are the people who stands a higher chance to make it far" Ah boy got a Distinction for this subject, trying to demoralise him, I told him the lecturer's analysis. Have a project submission the week after christmas + a presentation. This contribute to the additional 5% to the stress level. Previously, 10% was from the Final Year Report. This adds up to 15% for day 1.

Tuesday. Damn. I can't even comprehend a single bit for Business Intelligence. The facts just seems too much for me to absorb. I have a gut feeling that I'm not gonna do well in this subject. Though I may put the Analytical and Statistical skills I have learnt as a researcher into good use , still this subject is already haunting me. Difficulty in BI increases my stress level to 40%.

Wednesday. Final Year Project. Things are in a mess. The information are littered everywhere. So much worries that we won't have enough time to complete the programming stage. And with such a bloody client, life's not gonna be as simple or easy as ABC. Stress Level: 65%

No lessons on Thursday. But had a meeting with the Client. I guess we are having some problems with our stand and they jump into conclusion that we are gonna deliver something promising and excellent. My ass! We are not FULL-TIME programmers staring at the screen 24-7. I still have ample of projects waiting for me!

Today. Ahhh.. ERM project due on 23rd Dec. This means I'm gonna start my Hell-life on Monday. Sheez. But to be able to clear a project before christmas, this sounds cool eh? Hmm, what about the Saffron Christmas Party. I wonder if I can join them on the 21st. But Friends Christmas dinner on the 23rd shouldn't be a problem. I can imagine myself having a rolling good time with my pals. Imagine.

Wow! Let's total up.... Stress level is already 90% for week one. How's life gonna be for the following 3 months? I wonder.
I'm gonna take back my word from the previous blog that I'm gonna take it easy, and enjoy this last semester. Now, I know I won't be able to adopt the stress-free attitude. Because this is seriously NOT me. I am so tense up now. Time is soo precious! I had better go get some sleep. Good Night!

Today is Thursday!

Woke up like 11am today. No lessons for today. Went to meet Home Fix Director. Surprise. He dress shabbily. Oh well, but he's the boss!

Hmmm.. Yeah, Xiao Ham is alright now. He's left eyes is able to open. Try to spend like 15 mins playing with him. Sense that he's happy! =) Great job!

Just quite a number of things to clear this week. Oh well. Hope to be able to meet up with Kel this Sat evening for coffee session.

Ok, that's all for today! Lesson is at 9am. Gonna be dragging myself out of bed. Luckily there's human alarm service this few days! Thanks Thanks! Wahhaha!

I'll Stand By You

Heard this over the radio!
Ratings: 3.5/5

Girls Aloud
"I'll Stand By You"
Oh, Why You Look So Sad?
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don’t be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
’cause I’ve seen the dark side too
When the night falls on you
You don’t know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
So if you’re mad, get mad
Don’t hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
Well I’m a lot like you
you’re standing at the crossroads
And don’t know which path to choose
Let me come along
’cause even if you’re wrong
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you
And when...
When the night falls on you, baby
You’re feeling all alone
You won’t be on your own
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I’ll never desert you
I’ll stand by you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you
Won’t let nobody hurt you
I’ll stand by you

Aww man. Stress is coming again. Work is piling up! So many things to do.

Pissed off today. Because I was kind enough to let a guy alight first, but he knocked into me. My phone dropped and landed up at the TP bus stop. took me 5 mins to revive! No scratches. But i suspect my phone gonna be suffering from internal injuries.

Xiao Ham got eye infection. I think is because I didn't change the saw dust for week. Poor thing man. And I really don't know what to do to the infected left eye. Hope he'll get better.

Wa, boy got Distinction and 3 credits for his exams. Damn clever!!

My kor is jobless again. He's changing job for the 3rd time this year or after his ORD. Daddy is unhappy but he doesn't wants to say anything. Don't know what kor wants also. Like i've told you guys in the blog long long time ago, he's aimless. He doesn't knows what he want. Does this happens to everyone? Because, upon graduation, everyone will start looking for a job that they have passion in. Yes, I self-admit I will be like this in future, however its always safe to have a back up. Else, you'll end up like my kor.

So moody today. hate it!

The Baby Stories...

posted by tristan @ 12/05/2004 10:53:00 PM

Good day people! Oh, heading back to school tomorrow. Well, after 6 months of no-exams and no-projects life, it kinda sucks really. But the good thing is, you get to see all your friends again. For the last 4 months in Poly life. So, I don't wanna put too much stress on myself. Just enjoy and do what I can best do. I'm heeding the bitches advice. Because in the group, I am the most "kan-chiong" and stressful one. Thus, they wanna stop me from getting a degree just in case i might go crazy anytime. Haha!

Ok, i wonder how many of you have watch the 10:30pm programme on Channel U. This programme make me feel something. Something about how cruel life can be. Something about determination. Something about fighting to live no matter how harsh condition can be.

A baby girl was born abnormal. The moment she came into this world, sadly, the doctor told her mum that this baby can live for another hours or so. Somehow, the baby was determine to live. She made it. I stared at TV screen and thought, how cruel can god be. She was born with only a eye. Abonormal. And need operation with hundreds of stitches on her head. The sight of it make me wanna break down. But. the baby is healthy right now, receiving lotsa love from everyone around her. I bet she can feel it too.

So I see no reason why people should give up on themselves when a new born baby have the courage to fight to live. No matter how hard life gonna be, don't give up. Treat it like a fruitful experience when you fall. When you finally get over this and you look back, you will only find yourself stronger than before. You will be proud of yourself eventually.

Just last few days, I saw the news where a new born baby was bring thrown down from the flat. The baby is dead. Bloody. This is really bloody. I wonder who the cold-blooded parents is. She kept the baby inside the womb for 9 months, just awaiting for the chance to kill him/her when he/she is finally out to this world. Doesn't she feel anything? I'm not trying to be an ass here, but I think if the woman can't give birth in future, retribution. Its all retribution!

Ok, be back blogging soon. Take lotsa care.

3 Days Itinerary

posted by tristan @ 12/04/2004 09:50:00 AM

Hey all... how's everyone doing? Well, school starting next week, kinda excited about it!! Its been like 6 months since I last attend classes. Here's the programme for the past 3 days...

Wednesday (1/12/04)
I have enjoyed lying in bed till late!! Because there weren't early activities for me. Late noon, met up with lian and cien to IKEA! Guess what! Its like a curse from licia, IKEA closed at 5pm as they were having Company Annual Dinner or Function! Damn! All the way to Queenstown and..... O well, not my day. Went to Queensway Shopping Centre. Interesting in here. How would you relate this shopping centre? I will relate it as an "Ah Beng" hang out place! Serious! I admit, past few years back, I did get my clothes here for once. But as we grow, taste changed. Most shop doesn't offer a single piece I like!

Thursday (2/12/04)
My intention was to stay at home for the day. Packed and cleared my stuff. Strange! There were some memorable things which I used to keep and can't bear to throw them away! But now? They're such an eye sore, taking my space! I threw away 6 bags of unwanted, some I gave them to my little cousins. The moment they see me giving away FREE toys, god, they were snatching and its like DIAMONDS to them! haha =P And.. in the midst of "FALL" cleaning, cien gave me a call and need company! No choice, because everyone seems to be tied up with programmes and stuff, thus I have to meet her! And wassup for lunch? Ajisen! Their ramen is getting saltier and saltier! I wonder is salt on Year-End-Sale as well? And the best dish for the day-Mo Chi Ice Cream! I don't intend to spent that much, but with Cien's presence, its pretty hard isn't it! Useless me, can't get over this temptation!

Friday (3/12/04)
Visit my 2nd home. haha! You must be guessing where on earth right? Sentosa! But sadly, I didn't enjoy myself though. The weather is moderate, with sun hitting on us for like 1 to 2 mins before it hid behind the clouds. I guess I didn't rest well, the previous night. Feeling so lethargic for the whole day. I even slept while tanning! ZzzZzzZzz

I was suffering from a terrible headache. For the whole day, I just feel like sleeping. I slept on the feeder bus, and sleepwalk back to my house! haha. Joking! But I didn't get in bed after I get home. Mum's back with a lot of goodies from Malaysia. The munching and TV programmes kept me busy! Finally hit the bed at 12.

Saturday (4/12/04)
Morning. nice cooling weather today huh! Hope everyone have a good rest for the next 2 days before we run the last lap! Fiesta!!!

Last Day At Work

posted by tristan @ 12/01/2004 01:15:00 AM

Today mark the last day of my stay with Saffron Hill Research. Time passed really fast though, started since mid June and now its already end of November. If I had told you I'm kinda sad, would you believe me? Well, honestly i'm really sad. =( The moment when everyone bid me goodbye, I revived those good and bad memories. I have always cursed the amount of stress and workload during my stay as an intern. But all these makes me stronger.

The last few minutes before I leave, I started to clear my table, throwing all the unwanted into the destruction box, and I realised I start to love the job as a researcher. I thought I have plenty to blog for the past 6 months of working life. Just when I wanted to share with you guys about it, I don't know where to start really.
